Greenpeace has commended Apple this week for it’s efforts to be greener. Just another reason to buy your next computer from Apple. At the moment the $300 – $400 netbooks are all the rage. But when you’re counting every last penny that goes into a computer you’re probably not going to worry about the lasting impact on the environment. I recently picked up a Dell 10v to try out the new Google OS. The shipping box that the 10v came in probably could have held two MacBooks in their boxes. It would be interesting to find out how much of a $1000 MacBook goes towards bettering the environment?
